Final thoughts as an Irlen Screener

I am now an irlen screener for the Northern Colorado territory. I have posted both my story and progress with wearing the irlen filters. My life has been through some dramatic changes over the course of the last year. I now have a sense of closure and clarity of the things I have experienced in my life. I feel it is time for me to create awareness and advocate for those who suffer in silence. I did for so many years. Light sensitivity can co-exist with other conditions. I fell through the cracks because all my symptoms were summed up to be from being half blind. The sad part is that no one seemed to listen when I expressed my what I was seeing on the page. I can tell you today as an Irlen Screener, my role is to listen and learn. Each case of Irlen Syndrome is unique and I will do my best to make each person feel special and most of all important in what each has to tell.
